Week 19

WEEK 19

Words of Encouragement
“Devote yourselves to prayer, always be watchful.”

EEL

NEW GRAMMAR:
COMBO OF 3: Cx, Int. OCN/OCA
The kiddos started off by changing DECLARATIVE sentences into INTERROGATIVE.

THREE LITTLE PIGS
We enjoyed the little listening exercise. I hope that this activity helped our kiddos point out the OCN and OCA in sentence.

NEW GRAMMAR:
We took another look at the 5 Principle Parts of a verb (the 5 forms a verb can take) This may seem like a meaningless exercise, but I guarantee that it is not.
Infinitive is to + a verb
Present todays form of verb
Past yesterdays form of verb (-ed)
Present Participle usually with helping verb (am are is was were being been) ends -ing
Past Participle use helping verb have has had end in -ed. en, t)

See my Principle Parts document here.

DIALECTIC: We broke up in groups and did TASKS with sentences. Each group left with homework to diagram. :)

MATH

BOARDSLAM: We worked on our PERSONAL BEST.
