You will benefit by becoming familiar with the lessons of both EEL and IEW by reading these posts below in the left column. I will post this information each after our CC day. You will also be encouraged and equipped by having the links in the right column always accessible. These links include calendar items, schedules, and resources. Take heart! YOU CAN DO THIS!

Week 12

WEEK 12
Jesus is the Reason for the Season.
(Diagram that if you want a fun challenge!)

EEL
We had fun using our English Grammar knowledge during our three stations. Matching EEL, Stack the definitions, Sort the sentences, and Christmas BINGO. (I appreciate you moms jumping in and helping!)

I also took some time to introduce the individual incentives this next semester. We will use RUBBERBAND BALLS! Our students can start now!

Here are the rules:
1 Chart = 2 Rubberbands
AND I will DOUBLE their earnings on a chart if you capture a photo of them doing their chart in a unique location. (EX: under the table, in a tree, upside down, etc.)

Starting at arrival on Week 13, moms can come into class with a chart done to earn an extra band as well. Up to one band per week per momma.

EEL HOMEWORK: Focus on Verb Charts and keep getting dialectic with sentences!

MATH
We spent a little time doing a little boardslam. Seems like the kiddos enjoyed their Christmas gift. :)

IEW
We spent some time talking about the FOH. We talked through the phases and suggested homework for the break.

Here is what I have so far:
Dillon- Abraham Lincoln
Taylor- Orville Wright

We spent a good amount of time reading/listening to everyone’s papers. Great work, kids!

IEW HOME WORK:
Complete Phase 1 for FOH.
-Select a subject (email/text me when you know)
-Find easy to read sources
-Think through topics you can write about
